Ed Roberts

Ed Roberts is the Director of Treatment Operations for CEC/Civigenics, Inc. – the largest “for profit” provider of correctional treatment programs in the country. . He is the former Clinical Director of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Substance Abuse Treatment Program, has authored numerous articles, and collaborated with Dr. Stanton Samenow in the design and on-screen presentation of the video & DVD series “Commitment to Change: The Power of Consequences.” This video series is produced by FMS Productions. Ed has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University and received certification from the William Glasser Institute in the practice of Reality Therapy. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Specialists in Group Work, the Association of Addiction and Offender Counselors, and the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors. Ed also serves on the Board of Directors for the International Credentialing and Reciprocity Consortium (IC & RC), and has served as a trainer/consultant for the National Institute on Corrections (NIC).
