Certification Requirements

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent minimum. Work experience is tiered by degree level – a higher degree significantly reduces the required hours (see “Work Experience”).
Work Experience: Master’s degree: 2,000 hours; Bachelor’s: 4,000 hours; Associate’s: 5,000 hours; High school diploma: 6,000 hours.
Supervised Hours: 300 hours supervised practicum (minimum 10 hours per domain).
State Exam: Passing score on the IC&RC ADC exam.
