OHIO 30 HOUR RENEWAL PACKAGE

Click “Course Listing” at the top of our homepage, select Ohio from the map, then choose your credential level or “All Available Courses.” All courses shown are OCDP Board-approved for Ohio counselors.

We offer several money-saving options:  

• Value Package (10 hours for $99, saves $31)  

• 20 Hour Renewal Package ($150, saves $110)  

• 30 Hour Renewal Package ($210, saves $180) 

• Plus, we offer specialized credential packages with even bigger savings like our CDCA Phase I package ($259, saves $261) 

Courses are available immediately with credit card payment in your Student Center under “My Courses.” For renewal packages, you’ll receive credits to select individual courses.  

CDCA Preliminary is a temporary 13-month credential. After 10 months, you apply for CDCA Renewable (a different credential that renews every 2 years with 30 CE hours). CEU Matrix provides courses for both levels. 

Yes, the 70 hours from your CDCA Preliminary and CDCA Renewable count toward the 180 hours required for LCDC and LICDC credentials. This leaves you with 110 hours to complete. We offer a specialized 110-hour progression package for $549 (saves over $880 compared to individual pricing).

Education grids showing course requirements for each Ohio credential level are available through the OCDP Board website at ocdp.ohio.gov. Our team can also help you understand which courses fulfill specific education categories. 

No, there’s no time limit. The system tracks your credits automatically, so you can work at your own pace 24/7 from anywhere with internet access. 

Yes, you can retake any exam multiple times at no additional cost. Exams are scored immediately online, and you can print your certificate of completion as soon as you pass.
