Learning Objectives
This course looks at the causes and symptoms of COVID-related stress as they pertain to addiction and counseling professionals. Recognizing these causes and symptoms is essential to staying well during the pandemic. Unlike most trainings, this course focuses on the wellness of the counseling professional and not about the clients themselves. Tools, work options, home ideas, and prevention planning methods are discussed as means to combat stress, anxiety, and depression during the pandemic. You must maintain your own level of rational thinking and professionalism in order to assist your clients in their rehabilitation and recovery.

I have been in private practice since 1990, now practicing through tele-health in North Carolina and Colorado.
