If treatment plans are the roadmaps for treating addiction, then treatment exercises must be the bricks and mortar. During this course we will revisit the value of treatment exercises and how they impact the client’s quest for sobriety.
In order to be successful in treating a client, it is imperative that you empower your clients to use certain skills. The treatment exercise is the only way we have of nurturing that process. Well-planned treatment exercises have always had an immense impact on clinical issues. We know that clients respond better when they are involved in the treatment process. Treatment exercises literally complete the client in the treatment process. With treatment exercises, outcomes can be more clearly defined and we can develop a better understanding of pertinent treatment issues.
It is important for you to remember that addicts and offenders are not really quite sure on how all the drama came about in their life.
