The North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB) credentials chemical dependency and criminal justice professionals. In North Carolina the Board allows you to complete 50% of your required hours via independent study. CEU Matrix can provide course packages to assist in certification and re-certification of these credentials. All of our course packages were put together with courses approved by the NCSAPPB.
For those of you without a degree the Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP) are available. Those holding a master’s degree in a human services related field with a clinical application from a regionally accredited college or university are eligible to become a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). It should be pointed out that the CSAC credential also applies to those with associate’s and bachelor’s degrees as well as those with master’s degrees that do not meet the LCAS requirements. CEU Matrix has the packages shown below that will provide 50% of your required substance abuse-specific training for these credentials.
For those seeking renewal of their credential we have packages that provide 50% of your required continuing education. This amounts to 20 hours for the LCAS and 30 hours for the CSAC and CCJP. When you purchase a re-certification package you will be free to choose from our 80+ course library to suit your needs and interests. Again, all or our courses are NCSAPPB approved.
