What This Package Covers
Texas requires 150 hours of criminal justice-specific education for the Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP) credential at the Bachelor’s degree level (or ADC/LCDC holders), including a minimum of 6 hours in criminal justice ethics. Certification Requirements
- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Behavioral Sciences, or current ADC or LCDC credential.
- Work Experience: 4,000 hours of direct services in criminal justice/addiction services.
- Supervised Hours: 100-hour practicum (minimum 10 hours in each of the 4 CCJP core skill areas).
- State Exam: Passing score on the IC&RC ADC exam and the IC&RC CCJP Supplemental exam.
